Some of the albums up here are really quite old (the poor slideshows have had to be modified as their coding has become obsolete and therefore look a lot blurrier than the newer ones). So why keep them up there? One of the coolest things about my job is that many, many of my wedding couples have become long term clients and I see them again and again. Whenever I think about deleting their online album, it makes me sad. They are my friends and I love seeing them up here even if I've shot at that location a dozen time since then or shot it better, it doesn't really matter to me anymore. I love these photos (in all their iterations from gloriously clear to super blurry) because I love these people!

A photojournalist is trained to be patient and wait for those peak moments to happen. That takes time, patience and a certain ability to anticipate when something's about to happen. Studio photographers who offer photojournalist packages don't have the patience or time to wait for cool, natural moments to happen, so they create them and will give you script of "candid moments" they are happy to photograph. If an elephant walked through the middle of your ceremony dollar to donuts, he'd miss it! He wouldn't be looking behind his back or it wouldn't be on his shots list.
