You'll have and own all your wedding photos within two weeks of your wedding.

michigan wedding photographers prices her wedding photography packages for photojournalistic wedding photography.

My basic wedding photography pricing which covers most of my clients, starts and ENDS at

$2000.

So what does this price include?

- Up to 8 consecutive hours of shooting time.

That allows me to usually be there from the time you're getting ready all the way through most of the reception.

- Multiple locations are fine!

- Most couples receive an average of 1,200 ready to print images from their wedding!

- It also includes all the high resolution, edited, color correct, fixed up and ready to print digital images

on a DVD, along with a backup DVD to hold all your wedding day images.

I also keep a back up DVD with all the wedding photos at my home.

Most couples upload their favorite 300 or so images to an online service

so their friends and family can order your wedding photos at 17 cents apiece!

Many photographers offer to do this for you but because they set their own prices,

your friends and family pay whatever they feel like charging.

This gives you the flexibility to print to your heart's content and get as creative

as you want without having to keep going back to your photographer.

- I will convert up to 10 images to B&W, sepia or spot coloring on the images of your choice.

- You own the rights to your all your images on your wedding day!

No need to buy them later, they are included up front.

- The images arrive within two weeks of your wedding.

- You take care of printing. Print what you'd like... no set package or unnecessary excess.

- It also includes mileage up to 50 miles away from Troy.

(please add another $50 if it's further than 50 miles away, but no more than 100!). If it is further, check out my destination wedding fees and packages.

- When time allows, I set up a preview slide show of favorite wedding day photos which is projected on a small screen at your reception.

This is a HUGE crowd pleaser and a bit of a high wire act that most photographers won't do because the images haven't been retouched.

- You're also receiving my expertise in the field of wedding photojournalism.

I always bring with me my many years and over 600 wedding's worth of enthusiastic and positive experiences,

multiples of back up equipment, and a 100% approval rating.

Expect your printing costs to run around $100 for your edit of prints and enlargements.

That's it. No guesswork, no fees for reprint rights, no unforeseen huge expense later!

Add Ons... Bells & Whistles

1) Please add $300 if you'd like me to set up a Photo Booth!

Want to see what crazy things people do in a photobooth? Click here! or here to see two different slideshows from samples of photobooths we've set up and run during weddings.Want to make sure all your guests are photographed? Want to see your friends and family in a new, wacky light? I can bring an additional lighting kit and digital camera to set up a photo booth manned by my lovely daughter / assistant. During the reception, guests are encouraged to have their photos taken. People seem to lose their inhibitions and really cut loose. We can't print out the images at the reception, but we do provide fun props (hats or frames), your choice!

2) Please add $1500 if you'd like me to add in a second professional shooter to your wedding.

My back up and husband (who has been a professional photojournalist for over 20 years and also shoots weddings) can shoot the wedding if you really feel two photographers are better than one. Is a second photographer necessary? Not at all!!! All of the photos you see on my site are mine shot at weddings I've covered by myself. I'm bowing to client demand and offering this as an option.

3) Please add $1000 if you'd like me to make your wedding photo album.

For my clients only, you now have the option of having me put together a wedding album with 40 sides and you've got three styles to choose from.

How are you, as a bride or groom supposed to figure out how to compare all the the various Michigan wedding photography prices? It's very hard to compare all the multitude of Detroit based wedding photographers out there and to figure out exactly what their pricing for their photography means. I try to make MI wedding photography pricing as simple as possible with the wedding photo package I offer. I've added in lots of things that many of my couples don't always want, or need, like beautiful wedding albums, and a photo booth, or a second professional wedding photographer, but I offer these so that you can have everything "A La Carte" if you choose. Many Michigan wedding photographers prices and wedding photography prices make if difficult to compare apples to apples. For example, some photographers offer to host your images online for you. What they don't say is that all your friends and family can buy them from you... for a whopping fee of $20 to $40 for one stinking 4x6 print! I've also seen quite a few Michigan wedding photographers offer wedding photography packages that include things like "you own all the high resolution proofs" or "you have access to all your own images". Does this mean you own them? What is a proof? That used to be a small version on a final print. One you'd like, but couldn't blow up. They used to be watermarked, or rendered pretty much useless to you until you bought their big, fancy photos. I'm in the wedding photography business and even I don't know exactly what you are and aren't getting when I look at all the Detroit area wedding photography prices! The most important thing to look for with all Michigan wedding photographer pricing is that you can figure out what the bottom line is so that you'll know whether or not it fits your budget on your wedding day! Many, many wedding photographers show you what they charge for shooting along with some bonus items, but it's really important to most of my clients to know what they'll be paying for when it's all said and done.

So I'm trying to keep all of this as basic and straight forward as possible (at least for my Michigan based wedding photography). $2000 covers the price of my expertise and experience. You own all rights to your images and have access to them within two weeks of the wedding. Wedding photojournalism is a very new and hip thing, yet this is what I've been doing for over 20 years. It's not a fad, wedding photojournalism is how I approach your day. You are in charge and have the flexibility to do all your own printing. I'm a photojournalist with over 20 years experience. I shoot weddings in a photojournalistic style, which makes me a wedding photographer who incorporates her wedding photography skills to make her into a michigan wedding photojournalist. What's a photobooth or photo booth? Well, a photo booth is where I set up a camera and lights and invite guests to come have their photos taken at you wedding. I set up the photobooth in an uncrowded, but easy to get to location and my daughter invites your guests to come have their photos taken at the photobooth. I also mention my pricing, the wedding photography packages, the Michigan wedding photography prices and Detroit wedding photography packages. I'm hoping you found this page if you were looking to find out what this Michigan wedding photojournalist has for wedding package pricing.

What areas do I work in? I'm a Michigan wedding photojournalist who lives in Oakland county, Michigan. I do most of my wedding photography in the Southeast area of Michigan, but I do travel a two hour driving distance from my home in Troy. So that means I end up shooting a lot of weddings in college towns like Ann Arbor and East Lansing. I also end up taking wedding photos at a lot of historic places around Dearborn, Michigan, like the Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Estates. I do travel to mid Michigan, as far as the Saginaw and Midland areas, but as I've mentioned, there is a travel fee for mileage added onto any photo pricing for my wedding photography packages. This wedding photographer from Michigan does things a bit differently for her Michigan wedding clients. The slideshow at receptions is a huge hit at Michigan wedding receptions and the photo booth is another thing that sets me apart from other Michigan wedding photographers in the Oakland County and Detroit area wedding.photographers.
