This was a really fun wedding to shoot at Clarkston's United Methodist Church. Laura is the oldest of 4 daughters and the first to walk down the aisle. As a metro Detroit wedding photographer, I'm always looking for something new to add to my wedding photography and I found that in this church in Clarkston. There was some camp function going on at the church, so the place was littered with large camping items. The boys were playing Wii downstairs and pretended to have a campfire with one of the props. Then they wrestled. You know, typical guys blowing off steam type of stuff! Clarkston's United Methodist Church has a nice bright white room for the brides to get ready in and I was able to get some really nice wedding preparation photos in Clarkston.

The ceremony went off without a hitch and we headed over to White Lake Oaks Golf Course in White Lake, Michigan for more wedding photography. They group was literally up for a fun wedding party jumping photo, but after aerating the golf course once, that was it! We got some more photos on the White Lake Oaks Golf Course before heading into their reception. Laura's sister played the piano for them and Ryan's sister in law sang for them. It was a wonderful family affair with lots of fun, and love and energy.
