Brian, Angel and their kids went all out for this 20's themed wedding. They decorated their small, intimate wedding in a glamorous 20's theme and had the whole interior decorated to look like a 20's speakeasy. My favorite part? The guests were encouraged to dress for the 20's theme as well. With most weddings there might be the occasional guest who actually participates in a themed wedding, but since Brian and Angel's friends knew their "all in" gusto for all things costume related, they happily joined in!
Something you may have noticed it that there are a LOT of B&W images in this wedding gallery compared to my other featured mini albums. Because there was such an omnipresent theme to this wedding, I added a LOT of altered images to the images they received. Maybe these almost black and white images weren't their thing, maybe they were. They also received all the color images along with the same images altered as I went along during post processing. I think my editing adds something to the day, but my couples might not be so keen on my cool effects, so they receive both!
After their intimate, immediate family only wedding at "The Reserve" on their patio space, we went to a place in Bloomfield Hills where Brian just happened to know a person, who knows a joint where it's like totally decked out like the 1920's. I mean, it was like stepping back in time in a museum and we had total access. Awesome! Between the wedding and the reception, I followed them back to their Michigan home where they transitioned into full 1920's costumes changing their hair, clothing and makeup for the big night. This was spectacular. They even got the GVSU girls dance team to dance in flapper outfits on pedestals. I mean ALL out! Thanks for letting me tag along, lovebirds! Oh, and if you happen to be a batman fan, keep your eyes peeled for Brian as he makes his big screen debut as an extra in Batman Vs. Superman!
