Best Wedding Photography Moments of 2008 Portfolio

This slideshow represents one year's work (well, actually it's only half of the gallery, the other slideshow of wedding photography from 2008 is also available to view). As you can see, there were lots of great wedding photo moments for me to capture throughout the year. I shot weddings all over Michigan this year, but mainly stayed in the Detroit, Lansing and Ann Arbor areas. I had a lot of wedding firsts this year; first time at Lovett Hall in Dearborn, first volleyball game played at a wedding reception (made great wedding photos!), largest wedding party record set... for me anyways... there were something like 30 people in the wedding party!

I also had a wonderful couple get married after being together for 18 years and wanted great wedding photos. I also had a wedding with a bride and groom who had been the maid of honor and best man at a wedding two years ago, so I had knew both families and the wedding party ahead of time. I had also met many, many of my wedding couples ahead of time which was cool, especially considering how many of my couples are from out of state. We also battles record heat, record rainfalls (how many consecutive Saturdays did it rain?) and freezing weather in the spring and fall! My daughter also accompanied me to a record 12 weddings to set up the photo booth and provdided my couples with some excellent photos not only at the photo booth station, but as a second wedding ceremony photographer (she threw that in for free). All in all, despite the some freakish wedding weather, I had a spectacular wedding season, got to hang out with some great couples and was able to make some new friends along the way!
