Okay, so taking group wedding photos and family photos at weddings aren't my favorite part of the wedding day, but these portraits are the wedding photos that family's will be asking for. As a Michigan wedding photojournalist, I would call these a necessary, but not very interesting part of the wedding day. This is where my skills as a Michigan wedding photographer, from Troy MI come into play. I'm an Oakland County wedding photographer who used all of her theatre skills to get people to cooperate with me so we can get the group and formal pictures over with as quickly as possible. I do, however, love taking formal pictures of the bride and groom. My approach to my Michigan wedding photography is to put on a long lens and let the couple be together without interrupting them. That makes my Detroit Wedding photography have a more natural and intimate feeling rather than posing them the way I think they should look together. This Detroit wedding photographer enjoys spontaneity which neither formal wedding photos or the ceremony photos have much of. But they are both a crucial part of wedding photography, and even thought the trained photojournalist in me cringes, formal wedding photos are the ones moms and dads will hang on their walls! I need to include those wedding photos in my gallery, portfolio and wedding albums because they are just as important as the ceremony photos. I'm a Michigan wedding photojournalist who would love to be the wedding photographer at your Michigan wedding. You own the rights to your wedding photos right away for no extra fee. Enjoy the wedding ceremony and group photos.
