Anne Marie and Christopher were a lot of fun to shoot. Anne Marie had e-mailed the year before on the night I'd just gotten back from shooting a wedding of a bride named Anne Marie at the Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel, so I knew we would be a good match right away! We were able to spy on the guests as they arrived at the Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel and didn't even know they were being photographed. The boys were having a lot of fun goofing off waiting for the Grosse Pointe wedding ceremony to start, so I got some fun wedding photos beforehand. After the ceremony, it was blazing hot, so I tried to use as much of the exterior of the Grosse Pointe Wedding Chapel as possible. They kick you out really, really quickly and luckily we were able to get wedding photos taken outside.

We then headed over to the Lochmoor Club in Grosse Pointe for some more wedding photos. Anne Marie had scouted out the place and she, Christopher and I headed out all over the golf course for some really fun, unique wedding photos. They really let loose and enjoyed our time together and I think their Grosse Pointe wedding photos show that well. Sometimes it's just much easier to be a good wedding photographer when it's just me and the couple, so they can relax and I can just do my thing. When we went back into the Lochmoor Club, the evening started with toasts and a lot of dancing. This family is full of dancers and I can't wait to see them again this year as I'm the Grosse Pointe wedding photographer for her cousin's wedding this year as well!
