Jennifer and Rick were both getting ready out at Addison Oaks County Park in Leonard, Michigan. The grounds are beautiful and a great place to be an Addison Oaks wedding photographer. I could easily switch between Jennifer's bride room and Rick's much smaller and darker groom's room. Rick's family wanted family photos and I was able to take all their photos and all of Jen's wedding photos before the ceremony began. I don't usually take their Michigan wedding photos before the ceremony since most brides and grooms look pretty terrified or are too stressed out about the possibility of seeing each other beforehand. But we were able to accomplish quite a bit before the ceremony even began. The ceremony was brief and easy and we quickly got all of the family photography taken care of which left the bride and groom free to roam the grounds of Addison Oaks for more wedding photography. One thing I like about this place is that no matter what the season, there are so many photo opportunities, it's really a Michigan wedding photographer's paradise. The evening went smoothly. Lots of tears during the dances and when I left, the party was still in full swing.
