Yes, of course I shoot destination weddings. I'm happy to travel farther away from Troy MI where I base my wedding photography business, but I do charge double. The reason is that it means I can't shoot two michigan weddings in one weekend and I usually do. The good news though is that you also get me to shoot for two straight days while I'm there, so that should make it worth your while. Michigan wedding photography has been part of my wedding photography repertoire for over 15 years. I shoot wedding photos in the in Oakland and Macomb county and am happy to travel to where ever your destination wedding is. While attending college at the big house, I took many classes in photography and journalism, but never thought I'd end up working as a michigan wedding photojournalist! My home base is in Troy and that's in Oakland County, but I do travel to Macomb, Midland, Washtenaw and several other counties as well. Some may think of this as part of my wedding gallery. People often get my name wrong and call me Marcy Curtis or Marcie Curtis, so I'm putting those in here in case that's how you've also misspelled my name. I'm a Michigan wedding photojournalist and a MI wedding photographer who lives close to Clarkston MI. used to work at the Ann Arbor news back when I lived in Ann Arbor when I was a full time photojournalist for the local newspaper. This michigan wedding photojournalist works hard at wedding photography in order to make myself a better wedding photographer. I call myself a Detroit wedding photographer who also shoots Detroit wedding photography in the metro detroit area. You own all the wedding photographs from the day of the wedding. It's a very photogenic place and there are lots of places to take great wedding photos from. I try to work close to metro detroit and fairly near Oakland County MI. This particular portfolio and gallery was shot as a destination wedding on the other side of Michigan. In case you care, I also am an author and illustrator of children's books. I have three children's books published.
