This gallery features a couple I loved. The bride had more fun at her own wedding than anyone there. She got poison ivy, the cake fell and she didn't care at all... she was having a blast! This michigan bride is my hero! I travel an hour away from my home in metro Detroit in order to shoot wedding photos. I went to the University of Michigan and did take classes in photography, but never thought I'd end up as a photojournalist, let alone, a wedding photojournalist.! People often misspell my name and call me Marcy Kurtis or Marcie curtis, so I'm adding those for you. I'm a Michigan wedding photojournalist and a MI wedding photographer who lives in Troy MI. That's in Oakland County, but I do travel to Macomb and Wayne and several other counties as well. I also shoot Detroit wedding photography which makes me a detroit wedding photographer. I used to work for the Ann Arbor news when I lived in Ann Arbor. I am a photojournalist, a job which I love and still do. This michigan wedding photojournalist studies wedding photography in order to make me a better wedding photographer. I've been published all over the world in newspapers. Some may think of this as part of my portfolio. Michigan wedding photography has been my job for over 15 years. This particular gallery was shot near Ann Arbor in a metropark. They decorated the gazebo and brought in tons of flowers from the Ann Arbor Michigan's Farmer's Market. I also write children's books and am an author and photo illustrator. .
