I love this portfolio because it's funky, fun and very stylized and who doesn't love a ring bearing dog? I travel an hour away from my home in metro Detroit in order to shoot wedding photos. I went to the University of Michigan and did take classes in photography, but never thought I'd end up as a photojournalist, let alone, a wedding photojournalist.! I'm a Michigan wedding photojournalist and a Michigan wedding photographer who lives in Troy MI. Please check out my galleries, portfolios and wedding albums. Some may think of this as part of my portfolio. Michigan wedding photography has been my job for over 15 years. I also shoot Detroit wedding photography which makes me a Detroit wedding photographer. I am a photojournalist, a job which I love. This michigan wedding photojournalist studies wedding photography in order to make me a better wedding photographer. That's part of metro detroit and that makes me an Oakland County MI wedding photographer. I've been published all over the world in newspapers. This particular gallery was shot near Battle Creek, MI and is part of MSU's extension program. I loved this wedding in michigan because it was the blending of two families and they were great about including their child into the ceremony. They are what's called a blended family. I'm also a children's book author and illustrator. People often misspell my name and call me Marcy Kurtis or Marcie curtis, so I'm adding those for you.
