I'm a photojournalist who comes to your home or a nearby park and takes causal family photos. After an hour's shoot, I edit, process the digital images so they are ready for you to print. Getting them ready for you takes me about 4 to 5 hours. The disk with all your ready to print photos arrives within two weeks of the shoot. I want you to look natural in your family photos that I take in Michigan. I'm a photojournalist located in Troy MI and I like to stay in the metro detroit area when shooting family portraits. My portrait photography is different from studio photography in that I'm more interested in your body language and poses than having you try to do mine. I like concentrating on your smiling happy and relaxed family faces because those make great family photos. I do portrait photography in Oakland County Michigan and the other towns surrounding Troy Michigan. This is a great way to mark someone's significant birthday. It's a great way to document and honor the birthday guest by taking some really fun and candid portrait photos. I'm a laid back portrait photographer who emphasizes having fun during the shoot so you're at ease and endjoy the process. Others might refer to it as being a portrait photojournalist. You own the rights to your images and I give you all the images I shoot... except the ones with your eyes shut! I called this section of portraiture in Michigan birthdays because sometimes that's a great way to celebrate a birth or a birthday.
