Thanks to all my fantastic Detroit, Michigan wedding couples for yet again getting out the word about how much you love Marci Curtis -Michigan Wedding Photojournalist. Your great reviews helped rank me as a long time Michigan bride and groom favorite photographer for three years in a row.

A couple of new trends to report in 2011. More and more couples are hiring photographers to shoot their wedding and/or wedding reception after they've tied the know. Sometimes their wedding was as long ago as a year, but they still want to have a great, classy celebration to mark their wedding or they had a destination wedding and want to share their celebration with all their Michigan friends and family, so they're hiring me to shoot portraits and their wedding festivites.
